Today, the 100+ Women Who Care of Door County had their annual Warm Hands, Warm Hearts event. This year it was a luncheon at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club, a recently renovated space just a mile from me overlooking the bay. The event was part social and part fundraiser and all attendees brought donations for the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club of Door County.

The luncheon featured a fashion show from the 100+ WWC sponsor, Spot. My mom was a model and she did amazing. It was also a good chance to do some impromptu shopping at Spot’s pop-up store where purchases supported another local nonprofit, Door County Secret Santa (an organization that helps local families pay heating bills).

I was weak and came home with a new sweater and winter coat.

Afterward, we headed to Door 44 Winery for a birthday celebration (for my best friend’s mom!) and then headed to Wild Tomato for dinner.

This is how you’re supposed to do Saturdays, right?

With Love,
