I spent the evening volunteering at the Door County 100+ Women Who Care fall giving circle meeting. I managed the virtual webinar and counted the votes after the three nominated nonprofits presented. It all went so smoothly — the least chaotic of the meeting. My mom and her team really got this down now.

And wow — it’s such magic energy. I teared up as the nonprofits presented and talked about what they were doing for the community. Door County Secret Santa, the main award winner, anonymously pays the heating bills of residents who are nominated by another member of the community. The volunteers deliver the paid receipts on Christmas Eve.

As always, I mostly end the night proud of my mama and this organization she’s built that’s had an incredible local impact.

With Love,
Natalie
